Why I Buy Drug Store Makeup
I'm going to start off by saying no, not all of the makeup I have is from the drugstore. I've recently been on a tight budget and would much rather spend my hard earned money on clothes than makeup that'll last a limited amount of times. I've found that liquid concealers from the drug store have about as much coverage as products bought at Sephora. You can NEVER go wrong with drugstore mascara they're celebrity endorsed and mascara is mascara it's all pretty much the same. Because of my budget, I only buy mascara, concealer, liquid foundation, powder foundation, and lipstick. These items are pretty basic and seem to last longer and go a long way. Don't get me wrong I would splurge on eyeshadow any day because I prefer a big palette over a single color. The fact that I try to wear little to no makeup helps with my budget too. I can honestly say it's the best decision ever because I end up with more spending money for things that are worth the extra money.

Beauty Blender vs Off brand sponge
I went to my local Walmart and saw blending sponges for 5.99 and I knew I had to try them. I already had the real Beauty Blender but I wanted something to compare it to. I noticed the quality wasn't the same for the off brand but it still blended well. The only major difference was the texture. The off brand seemed to be stiffer than the real thing and it didn't blend as well.

Kat Von D liquid foundation
I made a purchase of the Kat Von D liquid foundation due to the many good reviews of this product. My first impression was that the packaging was good quality. One of the features that I liked was the way the makeup pumped out in a way that would ensure all foundation was able to come out and almost none would be wasted. When I applied the makeup to my skin, I noticed that I'd made the mistake of getting the wrong color making it too dark for my skin tone. The foundation was not too thin in consistency and applied easily. The overall coverage was very well and covered most of my blemishes but it was difficult to cover the big blemishes which was expected. In conclusion, I loved this makeup and the coverage it had versus my other foundation and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Kylie Jenner liquid lipstick
I recently tried the Kylie Jenner lip kits in the colors KOKO K and Candy. These colors look similar in the bottle but are slightly different when used. I personally liked KOKO K better because it stands out more because it's more pink, while Candy K has more of a nude pigment. The lip kit quality is very good and when applied, it lasted all day but when I tried removing it at the end of the day, it didn't com off easily and instead stained my lips and skin. With a price of $29.99 plus shipping and tax, I believe this product is worth it and I would definitely recommend it and I'd buy in the other colors. The only downfall was how inconvenient it was to remove which could also be a good thing meaning it stays on well. Overall my review would be that these products are very high quality and worth the price.
